First day of school is here for our Aggies! Hope everyone survived move in! From new beginnings for our freshmen to beginning of the end for our Seniors (and everything in between!) – lots of excitement and emotions this week. They can do this and so can you! 😊 We would love to see those first day of school pictures so share them on our Facebook page. And remember if they aren’t calling then that’s a good thing – they are busy being an Aggie! (they will call eventually!)

Important Dates and Information:

  • Tuesday, September 7 – Monthly meeting. 6:30 Social 7:00-8:00 Meeting. The student organization Build will be sharing their program with us. You can learn more about them at HOME | buildtamu This was a requested club by several members so we are excited to hear from them.

We are still needing some “big” items for the silent auction. If you have any suggestions or donations, please contact Angie Dyson.

Student Tips!

Texas A&M is BIG! And as you have probably seen there are a lot of students there – over 70,000! Finding “your group” can be hard for a new student but it’s so important for them to be involved. Encourage them to check out the MSC Open House on Sunday, September 5 from 1-5:00. Over 400 clubs will be there! Share their Instagram page with your Aggie – @mscopenhouse for updates and information.

First Yell Practice and Football game is this week! Encourage your students to get involved and go to these. It’s a perfect way to end the first week of school. BTHO Kent State!!

In case you didn’t know – Aggies labor on Labor Day. Classes continue as normal!

Looking forward to seeing all of you on September 7.

Thanks & Gig’em!
